Queen Elizabeth II arrived at the White House yesterday for the grand finale to a visit that's whirled from history to horse racing to high society with barely enough time for a spot of tea and a cucumber sandwich between.
Hugs from schoolchildren, a private luncheon, a garden party and the Bush administration's first white-tie state dinner kept the queen changing hats and offering polite greetings most of the day and well into the evening.

France et le titre de duc d'Anjou : la branche aînée légitimiste des Bourbon d'Espagne représentée par Louis de Bourbon et la branche cadette orléaniste descendant du frère de Louis XIV via Louis-Philippe.
En décembre 2004, Henri, comte de Paris, prétendant orléaniste au
trône de France, a conféré à l'un de ses nombreux neveux, Charles-
Philippe d'Orléans, fils du prince Michel, le même titre de Duc
d'Anjou.
Le prince Charles-Philippe d'Orléans qui a participé en 2006 à une émission de téléréalité sur TF1 ("Je suis une célébrité ! Sortez moi de là !), n'est pas marié et n'a pas d'enfant.

Interesting thing here about Ma petite Princesse is that she was born in the United States. I don't think a Royal was ever born in the US. I wonder what God has planned for her.

Were you speaking generally or specifically referring to the House of Windsor? Because there was Grace Kelly, after all.
Hi,Lucille. I think he was speaking specifically of someone born "in the purple." The Kellys are a fine Irish clan but they are not one of the royal houses of Europe. Although Grace's father was a prince among men, no doubt about that.
I admire her energy. Amazing! Just reading about her itinerary wore me out.
There was also Wallis Simpson, born an American but married a Windsor.
I think the Royal family mistreated her later in life...It would have been charitable to make the Duchess of Windsor an HRH on the Dukes death bed....But thats just me...There was also Consuelo Vanderbilt who became The Duchess of Marlborough and lived very unhappily.
