The Attack on Riley Gaines

Megyn Kelly slammed the “insane lunatics” who attacked swimming champion Riley Gaines on Thursday, calling the ambush “sick and infuriating.” The host of the Sirius XM “The Megyn Kelly Show” tweeted a video Friday that showed Gaines being attacked by a mob of radical transgender activists during her appearance at San Francisco State University.

“These insane lunatics attacked [Riley Gaines] for speaking up about women’s rights,” Kelly wrote. “(Riley tied w/Lia Thomas – a man pretending to be a woman — in the NCAA competition.)” she added. “This is SICK and INFURIATING. They must be fought. They must be defeated.” (Read more.)

Former University of Kentucky swimmer Riley Gaines, was at San Fransisco State Thursday giving a speech against men’s participation in women’s sports for Turning Point USA when she was confronted by an angry mob of far-left woke liberal college students that were violently shouting, “TRANS RIGHTS ARE WOMENS RIGHTS,” as she was hit twice by a man in the crowd.

Gaines said she had been “ambushed and physically hit twice by a man” after giving her speech at SFSU. A conservative women’s right’s advocacy group, The Independent Women’s Forum, came out publicly stating that the incident was “absolutely ludicrous.”

“We strongly condemn the violence perpetrated against [IWF] spokeswoman Riley Gaines on SFSU campus. Riley was violently accosted, ambushed, and physically assaulted during a speech on sex discrimination women face in their own single-sex sports category,” IWF wrote on twitter. Furthermore, IWF added, “Riley is courageous in speaking up for truth, science and common sense. She has experienced firsthand the injustice female athletes face across America in their own sport.” In the same Twitter threat IWF quoted Gaine’s statement to the media, saying “Inclusion cannot come at the expense of women.” (Read more.)
