Trump’s Victory Inaugurates the Postliberal Era

 From Postliberal Order:

During the last four years, the Biden administration inflicted untold harm on America’s international reputation, the integrity of its borders, the situation of public safety and even the sense of shared democracy. In each of these areas, Democrats assumed that they could exclude Trump and his supporters from the realm of polite company and from American political life as a whole. After changing the laws to enable their supporters to vote “more easily,” Democrats apparently thought that they could rule with impunity over a powerless American public.

But over the succeeding years, it became clear that the Biden administration had no plan for building American success and prosperity, or maintaining the American position in the world. Whereas Democrats had claimed that Trump was a destabilizing force on the world scene, the world quickly fell apart, beginning with the Russian invasion of Ukraine in early 2022. Since then, everyone has suffered from the high prices that have followed this destabilization.

Heading into the election, polls showed that 75 percent of Americans felt that the country was on the wrong track. Yet to win, Trump needed to convince a broad segment of the American population that they would be better off under his administration. This call ended up receiving the support of one of the broadest political coalitions in modern times. Even though Trump had been branded as a “racist” for years, a majority of Hispanic men voted for Trump, and Trump also achieved his best score among blacks (particularly black men), in spite of running against a black woman.

The Harris team had touted its selection of Minnesota governor Tim Walz as a brilliant pick, intended to bring a “folksy” charm (covering over Walz’s aggressive left-wing agenda). Voters saw through the deception, and the Midwestern states that have suffered from deindustrialization and despair went with Trump and his Ohio-born running mate, J D Vance. (Read more.)

From Right Flank:

As educators across the United States succumb to Trump derangement syndrome, it’s still more important than ever for we the people to stand firm in our convictions. This means proudly wearing Trump hats, no matter how much left-wing elitists despise it

Over the next four years, Democrats are going to do everything they can to bully and intimidate pro-Trump Americans. Whether it’s lashing out on college campuses, shunning relatives during the holidays, or attempting to “cancel” patriots on social media, the vitriol is here to stay.

At their core, radical leftists are terrified of the corruption that Trump will root out. They’re shaking at the notion of compromised agencies like the FBI finally being held accountable for their actions. We saw the fearmongering throughout this year’s election cycle. That’s now kicked into high gear since Democrats lost…and lost big… this month. (Read more.)

Meanwhile, the Biden regime becomes more despicable by the hour. Also from Right Flank:

In yet another sign of the pending apocalypse, Joe Biden has pardoned his son, Hunter. The pardon was made after Joe stated he would never pardon his son. The pardon also comes on the heels of the Democrats stating the impeachment inquiry was unsubstantiated.

If the impeachment inquiry was a total nothingburger, why would Joe issue a pardon to his son? It has never been more obvious that Joe Biden pardoned Hunter in response to the accusations made during the impeachment inquiry.

Joe Biden’s nepotism toward his son has some questioning whether presidents should have the power to pardon. The Hunter pardon comes in the aftermath of the Hunter Biden laptop saga in which embarrassing pictures of the president’s son were made public.

Those pictures revealed that Hunter was a drug addict, a criminal, and promiscuous.

Hunter’s shady business dealings with foreign governments have also come under scrutiny. The potentially illegal deals made Hunter rich. The worst part is Joe Biden appears to have influenced those shady transactions. (Read more.)
