Family Tree of Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette

Via Vive la Reine. Louis and Antoinette were second cousins once removed. The Bourbons and Habsburgs had been intermarrying for years. Louis’ maternal grandmother was a Habsburg archduchess, daughter of Emperor Joseph I. Marie-Antoinette probably had more French blood than Louis did. It is a shame she was always considered to be a foreigner.
