From Overton:
The most electric moment of President Trump’s address at Fort Bragg wasn’t about military budgets or renaming bases.
It came when he spoke from the gut—about the riots engulfing Los Angeles.
This was a battle for the soul of America.
The violence had spiraled for days. But aside from a few posts on Truth Social, Trump had largely stayed quiet.
That ended the moment he looked out across the crowd of troops and launched into what sounded less like a speech and more like a battlefield briefing.
“Before going further and want to say a few words about the situation in Los Angeles, California. Have you heard of the place?”
He spoke directly to the men and women who would be responsible for defending patriotism for generations into the future.
“I've deployed thousands of National Guard troops and hundreds of Marines to protect federal law enforcement from the attacks of a vicious and violent mob and some of the radical left.”
This wasn’t just about law and order—it was about survival.
“They say that's not nice, well if we didn't do it, there wouldn't be a Los Angeles—it would be burning today, just like the houses were burning a number of months ago.”

From Tierney's Real News:
Last night, the LAPD finally surrounded and boxed in a group of rioters and announced they were all under arrest. I've been waiting for this to happen. Apparently you could hear them crying. That was the first time I saw any mass arrests in 4 days of rioting.
Many of these agitators have been attacking police or pushing police over and over again. They've been blocking freeways and looting and lighting cars on fire. So far, I've only seen the LAPD arrest those who were throwing objects at police.
I don't understand why they don't just bring in a large paddy wagon for mass arrests. They have all been ignoring orders to disperse. (Read more.)
From The Vigilant Fox:
“This is a violent uprising,” she said, pushing back on the way media outlets and Democratic leaders have framed the unrest.
Leavitt emphasized that President Trump remains focused on law and order—and that the chaos wouldn’t stop his immigration plans. “President Trump promised to carry out the largest mass deportation campaign in American history,” she said. “And left-wing riots will not deter him in that effort.”
Since June 6, over 330 illegal immigrants have been arrested in connection with the riots, including more than 100 with prior convictions. One is facing attempted murder charges for allegedly attacking police with a Molotov cocktail.
“These are not harmless demonstrations,” Leavitt said. “They’re dangerous and coordinated.”
“Law-abiding American citizens do not want these public safety threats living in their communities,” she added, “no matter what Democrats like Karen Bass and Gavin Newsom may claim.”
Leavitt confirmed the operation will continue. “This administration is going to continue the mass deportation effort that the President promised the American public.”
Her warning to violent actors was firm: “Any lawlessness will only strengthen this President’s resolve to defend the majority of Americans.” (Read more.)
Meanwhile, in the Middle East....Also from Tierney's Real News:
SharePete Hegseth told Congress that "there are many indications that Iran is moving toward something that looks very similar to a nuclear weapon."
Iranian Defense Minister: "In the event of war with the US, we will attack American bases in the region."
Israeli journalist, Yaakov Bardugo, reportedly close to Prime Minister Netanyahu, stated on Channel 14 that Israel is days away from attacking Iran, as the Knesset prepares to vote on its dissolution in about three hours.
The United States is taking significant precautionary measures in the Middle East due to heightened security concerns. The U.S. Embassy in Iraq is preparing for a possible ordered evacuation, prompted by increased risks. Similarly, the U.S. Navy base in Bahrain has been placed on high alert, with authorization for dependents to evacuate. In the Persian Gulf, all U.S. tankers have been put on alert, and the United Kingdom has issued a parallel warning for all tankers and ships transiting the region.
Additionally, the U.S. is planning to evacuate its staff from Kuwait, and Defense Secretary Hegseth has authorized the voluntary departure of military dependents across the entire Middle East. Evacuations of non-essential personnel have already begun at Al-Dhafra Airbase in the UAE and Al-Udeid Airbase in Qatar. U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) is closely monitoring the situation, prioritizing the safety and security of service members and their families, while routine air operations continue without reported disruptions.
The Iranian media is calling for Jihad against Israel & America if the attack happens. Now you know why all those paid rioters are in place. (Read more.)
