A Portrait of the Bride

The Duc de Choiseul, architect of the Austrian alliance, presents the portrait of the Archduchess Antonia to the Dauphin Louis-Auguste. To quote:
Louis XV presents his grandson, the future Louis XVI, with a portrait of his bride, Marie Antoinette. Clustered around them are other members of their family, including the Comte de Provence, the Comte d’Artois, and Madames Clotilde and Elisabeth, who are on the left side. On the right are Mesdames, the King’s unmarried daughters, Adelaide, Victoire, Sophie, and Louise.
