‘Prevented Dozens Of Casualties’

 From The Daily Wire:

A 25-year-old woman led a group of fellow residents in defending her kibbutz from advancing Hamas terrorists, taking down more than two dozen even as the Israeli defenders were outnumbered. Inbar Lieberman, the security coordinator of Kibbutz Nir Am, jumped into action Saturday after hearing explosions when Hamas launched its attack on Israel, The Daily Mail reported. Lieberman quickly armed the community’s 12-member security team and set them up in strategic positions to ambush the invading terrorists.

Lieberman gunned down five terrorists herself as the rest of the security team finished off 20 more during a four-hour fight. Nir Am was successfully defended as other kibbutzim in the area were infiltrated by terrorists who brutally murdered hundreds of Israelis.

“It was amazing, my husband was part of the standby unit that worked to prevent more casualties,” Ilit Paz told news outlet Israel Hayom, according to the Mail. “They heard the shots and made contact on their own with other members of the standby unit and with Inbal — and they understood that they were told to be on standby. But Inbal made a decision not to wait and be jumped operationally. In fact, the fact that they did it early prevented dozens of casualties.”

Nir Am, which is less than a mile away from the Gaza Strip, was one of the few communities in the area to repel the Hamas terrorists who have killed more than 1,200 Israelis since launching their attack. Among the dead are the elderly, who were gunned down, and infants killed by decapitation. The terrorists reportedly set homes on fire to force people out of their safe rooms, then gunned them down.
