The English Cottage Look

The English take a lot of pride in their gardens. Since the country is so much smaller, land is scarce compared to the United States. Many village houses are very close together, and people grow up not having a yard at all. So whenever someone moves into a townhouse or apartment, they get excited even if they have a tiny back or front yard. They appreciate this land so much, that they do their best to create a cute little garden. (Read more.)
