The Night the Democratic Party Committed Political Suicide

Meanwhile, just last week....From Town Hall:
That’s why I report the Democratic Party committed political suicide on Tuesday night. Their response to Trump’s speech was out of bounds. It wasn’t normal. It was hateful. It was bizarre. Actually, in a word, it was “foreign.” The Democratic Party is now a foreign party in their own country. They no longer have any understanding of what people born in America think or feel. It's perfectly fine to be respectfully opposed to the politics of one party or president. That's acceptable. That’s as American as apple pie. But that’s not what happened on Tuesday night.

Democrats were outed as the party that is rooting for America's failure. Rooting against a booming economy. Rooting for misery, instead of prosperity. Rooting against job creation. Rooting against a booming stock market. Rooting against employee bonuses. Angry about the lowest black unemployment ever. Angry about the lowest Hispanic unemployment ever. Angry at the lowest female unemployment in 18 years.

They openly frowned, grimaced, groaned and looked sick to their stomachs when President Trump celebrated the American flag…the national anthem… American freedom… and American opportunity. Bizarre. Self-destructive behavior. (Read more.)
From Breitbart:
Throughout the 80-minute speech, Democrats were downright glum. None apparently wanted to be captured by cameras applauding anything Trump said, but it all just got weirder and weirder as the night went on.

"That is why, tonight, I am asking the Congress to pass legislation to help ensure American foreign-assistance dollars always serve American interests, and only go to friends of America, not enemies of America," Trump said. Applause from the right side of the room, crickets from the left. So, Democrats object to that pledge — that America only aid friends, not foes? That's a tough sell in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, or Abilene, Texas.

When Trump told a heart-wrenching story about two young girls killed by MS-13 gang members — their parents were in Trump's box and sobbed softly — he said, "Tonight, I am calling on the Congress to finally close the deadly loopholes that have allowed MS-13, and other criminals, to break into our country. We have proposed new legislation that will fix our immigration laws, and support our ICE and Border Patrol Agents ... so that this cannot ever happen again."

The camera panned the room: One side clapping, the other side, nothing. In fact, boos and groans were heard when Trump began his story. Again, so Democrats are on the side of MS-13 and they DO want that to happen again? (Read more.)
 From Dr. Hurd:
Like most distorted emotions, Trump Derangement Syndrome is based on irrational fear. To the Democrats who acted like sullen children during President Trump’s State of the Union address, the fear is of losing power. Their neurotic sense of power comes from feeling superior. The way they get to feel superior is by making people dependent on government programs that enhance their own sense of superiority and power. It also makes them financially wealthy, causing them to lash out at the rich they despise because on some level, they have got to despise themselves for becoming what they claim to loathe.

Rational people do not gain self-esteem or confidence from exercising power over others. They obtain confidence and self-esteem by developing and using their minds to produce valuable products, services or personal and family relationships. Democrats like Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Hillary Clinton — and many of their Republican counterparts like John McCain — have literally nothing but government power. It’s all they know, it’s all they want or care about, and it’s the only thing that makes them feel alive or human. Why else do they remain in office decade after decade? (Read more.)

They are quick to label others racist and haters, but they continue to show what haters they are....the "Resistance", as they call it, turns out to be a resistance against anything positive for America and Americans.
