A careful and skilled design plan requires a lot of heavy lifting at the beginning, where we are collaborating and creating the vision. It is crucial to develop a scaled design plan with elevations and space allocations in order to paint the picture of my vision for a client. It’s definitely a process, but worth the extra time and effort to get the proportions of furniture correct the first time. I always tell my clients: “People notice what’s wrong before they notice what’s right.” From there, we source the right furnishings and build products that combine form and function, specifically for their lifestyle.
