Conversations on Downton Abbey

I recently joined author and blogger Genevieve Kineke on her radio program to discuss the historical realities behind the show Downton Abbey. From Feminine-Genius:
I thoroughly enjoyed a two-part conversation with Mary-Eileen Russell on Downton Abbey -- NOT the plot per se (so no spoilers!) but on the lives of women in the early part of the 20th century. There is so much to unpack, both upstairs and downstairs, but a good understanding of history allows us to consider the world at the cusp of the women's movement -- and what drove it.
