Good article. I think it's kind of funny that lack of socialization is a concern with homeschooling considering that homeschool children are out in the "world" rather than in classroom all day with same age peers. Not saying one is any better than the other, it's just ironic. Maybe it stems from the perception that homeschool children never leave the house? Because homeschooling is concentrated time, one-on-one, studies get done early in the day. The rest is all free-time which means getting out to interact with the world.

I agree. Sometimes I think that a bad experience at school can keep a child from blossoming socially.
