When Children are Disruptive at Dinner

 From The Oklahoman:

 We went out to dinner a couple of months ago, and it was the first time since we ventured out to a nice restaurant since the pandemic started. We were a little nervous, but we were amazed that the table near us featured children not on their best behavior.

The parents just sat there as the boy and girl played under the table and around the other people at nearby tables, including us. They were very disruptive.

What should we have done? We did not encourage their behavior by talking to them or laughing, but they continued their noise throughout dinner. Should we have asked the waiter to move us? (Read more.)
