The summer residence of Habsburg royalty in centuries past, the Rococo-style castle traces its beginnings to 1642 and forms a majestic backdrop to the handcrafted Nativity scenes, decorations, and other items offered here. Situated halfway between Schönbrunn and the legendary Danube River, The Hofburg served as the Habsburgs’ winter quarters.
