From Tiny-Librarian. Great niece of Marie-Antoinette and wife of Bonaparte. Her expression tells me she has been through a lot. To quote:
This eighteen-year-old Princess is tall, and has a good figure. Her
bearing is noble and her countenance pleasing. She is endowed with much
grace, and has a kind and amiable expression which inspires confidence.
Her education seems polished. It is well known that she sings
charmingly, plays the piano with great talent, and composes etudes. She
also paints in oils. I turned the conversation to the arts. H.I.H. took
up the subject with great intelligence, and above all veiled her many
achievements with much modesty, which enhanced her youthfulness.
