Catherine-Rosalie Gerard Duthé
She was an actress and the mistress of the Comte d'Artois. Isn't her gown wonderful? (Via Vive la Reine.) La Duthé has been unkindly called "the first officially recorded dumb blonde" and was painted often in the course of her life. She reminds me of Manon Lescaut.
