Forced Abortions in China...

...are still the order of the day. Some parents try to save their children's lives, without success. (Via The Western Confucian)

  1. It's been known about these forced abortions in China. In rural areas, couples can have up to 2 or 3 children. The cultural preference is for boys.
For those who advocate abortion as a 'choice', try living under a government like China's that makes choice for you. This one child policy has done a great deal of harm--that's an unequal gender ration.

  2. Thank you, Elisa. Yes, actually, I have heard about forced abortions in China before today. I thought this article was a good update, with stories of specific individuals, which makes the reality all the more horrifying.
