It just gets worse and worse...
...Everyday. I was afraid that this would happen. My husband and I both predicted that this would happen if we invaded Iraq. I wish we had been wrong. I wish all the people who claimed that we would bring Christianity as well as democracy to Iraq had been right. But it looks like all we brought was rape, murder, and Planned Parenthood. What the Christians are now suffering there defeats description. (Via the NOR)

ReplyDeleteOh, yes, they set up shop practically on the day of the invasion. And I think that abortion was against the law in Iraq before we got there.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't help matters that the Sunni and Shiite Muslisms are fighting each other.

ReplyDeleteThe incredible arrogance of the U.S. to attempt to impose our brand of democracy upon every nation is incomprehensible to me.
It is incomprehensible indeed. All one has to do is take one undergrad course of Middle East history to predict such a debacle. You would have thought all of those Ivy League graduates in the State Department would have known better.
