Favorite Hymns

I have been tagged by A Thorn in the Pew to name my favorite hymns. They are:

In Latin-

    Do you know where to find an English translation of _Salve mater misericordiae_ that can be sung to the chant melody? I have seen translations that do not fit, but I remember a few phrases, with the melody, which I must have learned in grammar school:
    ... Mother joyful, we place our trust in you,
    Mother holy, all grace abides in you ...

    There was one in the old "People's Mass Book" from the late sixties. It had the Latin and the English for Salve Mater Misericordiae. The English did not quite fit; it sounded a bit like what you are quoting. Not sure where to find it now....
