Protecting Children from Catholic Schools
It is really a shame but experiences like this keep happening to Catholic parents. I hope the tide has begun to turn....

Excellent article, emv. It reminds me of a statement I heard Fr John Hardin make at the Catholic homeschool convention years and years ago. He said that the hope for the future of the Church and her teachings is in the grassroots movement of the devoutly Catholic homeschool families. I know he is in heaven praying fervently for these families!
ReplyDeleteI was in the Catholic school system from K-9. Two were parish schools and my freshman year was at a Carmelite and Francisian school. (We moved around a bit because of my dad's transfers by his company) I had a wonderful experience so I missed it when I attended a public high school for grades 10-12. Not all my teachers were Catholic but they were dedicated faculty.
ReplyDeleteThanks and I hope so, too, Georgette. Elisa, thanks for pointing out that there are still some fine Catholic out there.
