I hope so too. We have a Latin mass in several places in Toronto, but we don't have a parish. The motu proprio would pave the way for something that we've been hoping for for a long time.
Pray, pray for vocations to the priesthood. I think the way the Latin mass can spread after this comes is through the ministry of devout young priests.
Courteous comments are welcome. If a comment is not published, it may be due to a technical error. At any rate, do not take offense; it is nothing personal. Slanderous comments will not be published. Anonymity may be tolerated, but politeness is required.
I would like to respond to every comment but my schedule renders it impossible to do so. Please know that I appreciate those who take the time to share their thoughts.

Same here in Seattle/western Washington. One Latin Mass downtown, but no parish.
ReplyDeleteYou're right, Warren, devout young priests may be the way for this to happen. Praying here....
Thanks, Warren, I will pray!
