Emperor Franz Joseph

Here is an article from Triumphant Baroque about Emperor Franz Joseph, the "longsuffering." The Emperor of Austria-Hungary, he lost his beloved wife Empress Elizabeth to assassination and his only son to suicide. He was a great, great grand-nephew of Marie-Antoinette.
