In the past brides wore orange blossoms at weddings and Roman brides wore orange itself.elena maria vidalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17129629173535139807noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7534539169157708222.post-72459772332376779762011-02-15T19:55:02.627-05:002011-02-15T19:55:02.627-05:00I can wear it - reddish hair, freckles, and warm u...I can wear it - reddish hair, freckles, and warm undertones in skin. I love it, and I've been enjoying its drift into home decor as an accent. I like the softer warm shades of orange - blends well with soft browns, and too much bright orange can look garish. It's very cheerful, young, and upbeat. Orange is the color of vitamin C and vitality. It reminds me of summer or Florida in the winter - orange water on my skin, sunsets, and orange sherbet. :)

Wasn't it traditional at one time to wear orange flowers in your hair for weddings(Edwardian?)?Alexandrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12356420873078531863noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7534539169157708222.post-77297162280728800842011-02-14T23:07:15.994-05:002011-02-14T23:07:15.994-05:00Dark blue is beautiful on nearly everyone, and the...Dark blue is beautiful on nearly everyone, and there is really quite an array of dark blue shades- the rich royal blues, the warm, sweet indigo that I love, navy blue, and a blue that is almost black. Men love women in shades of blue. It's never really out of style, and it's always in good taste. The North Coasthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14292115710427172625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7534539169157708222.post-55569277318187885192011-02-14T19:13:59.632-05:002011-02-14T19:13:59.632-05:00I like blue, especially royal blue.I like blue, especially royal blue.elena maria vidalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17129629173535139807noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7534539169157708222.post-14568855395570473042011-02-14T19:10:54.020-05:002011-02-14T19:10:54.020-05:00Be it associated with royalty as may be, I can'...Be it associated with royalty as may be, I can't think of a color that is less becoming to most women than orange except for neon green, yellow, or pink. Almost NO woman can wear it, and the only ones who do wear it successfully have dark coloring, like Michelle Obama. And they'd look better in something else.

If you want a color associated with aristocracy and royalty, go for blue. Dark blue makes it on almost everyone, and there's a shade of pale blue that looks good on almost every woman with every type of coloring. The North Coasthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14292115710427172625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7534539169157708222.post-86058603924349686702011-02-14T12:18:12.509-05:002011-02-14T12:18:12.509-05:00Don't worry, Richard, I'll be wearing gree...Don't worry, Richard, I'll be wearing green on St. Paddy's Day.
