We never knew occupation; we were blessed as were the British.It is easy to judge others; the French, the Poles, the Vatican. There were many heroic attempts that saved many Jewish People. Could anyone blame another individual for being silent? For a father who was protecting his family; a priest or minister protecting his congregation? I cannot imagine the turmoil many were subjected to; I will not judge them.
