The First King of Belgium

Here is an account of the life of King Leopold, Queen Victoria's beloved uncle. He was a Protestant with a devout Catholic Queen.

    I really got to know him first as "Uncle Leopold" and am in great ignorance about his reign as king. I do know that he was admired for his clever political maneuverings.
