The Young Victoria

There is a new film about Queen Victoria debuting this year. Judging from the trailer, it looks quite good.(Via Passages to the Past) Whatever one might think of Victoria, her influence upon our time cannot be overlooked. More information HERE.

    What a visual treat! I hope it is historically accurate as it is beautiful. I'll have to look for the release here.

    From what I understand it is based on a lot of careful research, and they are trying to capture the genuine Victoria. Apparently, the Duchess of York is one if the producers and has been quite zealous about getting the details correct.

    Thanks, Elena! I'm a fan of British history. Can't wait to see the film, hope it will be better than 'The Duchess'.
