Modernism and reform?? Who are they kidding? More like abuse and sacralige!! It kills me that these liberal "Catholics" think so MUCH of themselves! Modernism and reform. Give me a break!!

Be careful not to gloat too quick. Not trying to be a kill joy, but what if your priest refuses to say mass in latin? You appeal to the Bishop, who also refuses. It goes to Rome for adjudication. You'll be dead before it is ever righted. It took 37 years to get this far. I know in the time of the Church it is a twinkle but... I only last a twinkle.
Very true, nothing will change over night. I don't expect it to change much at all around here, at least not for a decade. It took 40 years for the church to get into this mess. But maybe now our children and grandchildren will have reverent liturgies.....

Oh, I think after all we have been through with liturgical abuses, heresies, and scandals, for most of our lives, we can gloat a little.
