The Health Benefits of Tea...

...Especially white, green and red teas. The Adagio tea site has several articles about the advantages of drinking tea for one's health. This is of interest to me, especially the helpful effects for those suffering from cancer, and many other ills.

Here is also a link about tea etiquette.

  1. Yes, I've heard about the green and white tea effect. The red and blue teas are good too if they are made from the real fruit. Red and blue fruits have anti-oxidant effects.

  2. I've never heard of white tea!

We have been enjoying all of our splendid teas we brought back with us from our China trip. Very fine quality Green tea is more expensive than jewels. But thankfully, a little goes a long way. We are also enjoying the Jasmine tea, Lychee tea, and Ginseng tea we brought back with us. All of them have differing health benefits. Jasmine is especially soothing and recommended for PMS and premenopause; Lychee is especially good for controlling cholesterol, especially drunk after a meal; and Genseng is good for vitality and strength in aged folks (my elderly inlaws have been taking Ginseng capsules prior to the tea).
