It makes one wonder how many other interesting events have fallen through the cracks of history. Good of you to bring this to your readers attention. I am somewhat acquainted with the Alger Hiss trial but was too young to get into the details. At the time we were all afraid of being taken over by Communism or become victims of an atomic attack. We thought that if and when the USSR failed all would be well with the world.
