It's amazing how that one event sent all of the countries into preprogrammed actions, like dominos falling. History can be a mighty thing.

One of the greatest tragedies that forever changed Europe. If the assassination never should have happened then certainly World War I never should have happened. I think if the Romanovs, Hapsburgs and Hohenzollerns could have foreseen the future they would have never ever committed to war. The loss of Europes' life and treasures were irreplaceable. This most tragic of wars gave rise to communism and fascism;a tragedy beyond compare in Christian Europes' long history.
